Note
- Workers in this unit group plan, organise, direct and control the activities of the production department of an undertaking. Their functions include: participating in formulating production policy; drawing up production programme of the undertaking according to policy decisions of general manager; estimating and ensuring provision of the labour, materials and equipment needed; controlling, through subordinates, the organisation of work and co-ordinating the activities of production department.
