Definition

  • V některých legislativních oblastech může být Evropský parlament požádán o vyslovení souhlasu podle zvláštního legislativního postupu uvedeného v čl. 298 odst. 2 Smlouvy o fungování Evropské unie (SFEU). V tomto postupu má Parlament právo veta. Parlament tedy může legislativní návrh schválit, nebo zamítnout a Rada nemůže rozhodnutí Parlamentu zvrátit. Souhlas je rovněž vyžadován jako nelegislativní postup, pokud Rada přijímá některé mezinárodní dohody.
