  • Übereinkommen, das am 23. Juni 2000 unterzeichnet wurde und zwischen den 15 Mitgliedstaaten der EU und 76 Afrika-Karibik-Pazifik-Staaten (AKP-Staaten) für die Dauer von 20 Jahren geschlossen wurde, wobei eine Klausel die Überprüfung des Übereinkommens alle fünf Jahre vorsieht. Dieses Übereinkommen tritt an die Stelle der Abkommen von Lomé, in denen die Beziehungen zwischen der EU und den AKP-Staaten seit 1975 geregelt waren.
