- Tarkoitti aikaisemmin tuomioistuimen toiselle tuomioistuimelle antamaa apua. Vuodesta 2002 lähtien oikeusapu on tarkoittanut kansalaisille oikeusasioiden hoidossa järjestettyä apua ja virka-apu on tarkoittanut mm. tuomioistuimen toiselle tuomioistuimelle antamaa apua
