Notes about the usage and scope of the concept.- CE-märke ges varor som uppfyller EU:s säkerhets- krav (bl.a. leksaker, barnvårdsprodukter, livs- medel, elprodukter, läkemedel, kemikalier). CE är förkortning av Communitas Europae.
- Merkintä, jolla varustetaan EU:n turvallisuusvaatimukset täyttävät tavarat (mm. leikkikalut, lastenhoitotuotteet, elintarvikkeet, sähkötuotteet, lääkkeet, kemikaalit). Lyhenne CE tulee sanoista Communitas Europae
